Periods from hell.

... much for the cramps, then Diane-35, which helped with my acne, and did help with the cramps and heaviness, but I could only stay on it for a year because of the risk of blood clotting. Now I'm on Marvelon, which makes my periods a bit shorter, but they're still heavy and quite painful. I stack my pills so I only get my period every 6 weeks, which makes it easier to deal with. Still, it's a pain....

I think I'm being slightly overly paranoid?

I was put on amoxicillin on December 5th, and my last dose was December 14th. During this time I had my period, and I began my next pack of pills. I'm in the last 6 days of my pack of Marvelon (so I'm two weeks and a day into it), and I had unprotected sex last night. He didn't finish inside of me (so we're looking at precum essentially), and I figure since I'm going to get my period in less than ...

Safe usage?

... want to go back on the pill for the sake of my skin and sex life, do you think I have had a long enough break, and is the pill really detrimental to your health if you are on it for long enough? I think I was on Marvelon before I stopped. on a side note, my period cycles have become fairly regular, and alternate in length by month, they go 34 days, 37 days, 34 days, 37 days. exactly. Cool huh.

Switched from monphasic to triphasic...without a break

Hello I was on Marvelon (monophasic) and I took my last pill on tuesday. I switched to ortho tricyclen right away and began my first pill on the wednesday. I was hoping to skip my period. I realize this may not happen because i went from monophasic to triphasic and the homonal levels will be different, but i was wondering if anyone knows it i'm still protected against pregnancy?  Thanks, cass 

... what do I know. The extension is being started on Monday, which is half woo and half omfg as the garage still needs clearing out and we haven't hired a skip yet / organisation lol. I made a discovery yesterday, about me - I have been much happier and active and socially aware since I switched from Marvelon to Depo Provera. So, it is good times all around. I no longer feel depressed. I'm free!

Ugh. Seriously. I hate being a girl. So I need to find a pill that will work for me asap. I was on Marvelon for 2 years but started getting headaches so switched to Alesse. I was on Alesse for 1 month & had bleeding the entire time so I switched again to Yasmin. Yasmin made me so sick I was in bed for 2 days. I stopped yasmin after taking only 5 pills. What the *heck* can I do? Does anyone know...

... I gained weight that I've never been able to lose and I'm always hungry. I get headaches when going on the reminder pills, and again when I go back onto the hormones (the reason I switched to Alesse from Marvelon). And, for a 21 year old woman, I've got pretty bad skin pretty much all the time. It's time for this to stop, and I think changing my BCP is the answer. I am willing to try other forms...
