Glasses Lenses

... recently, and bought a pair of beautiful glasses, and havent got around to buying the lenses yet. In my local family run optitions they're going to be £55... I did ...to fall apart! So I need them asap! Does anyone know where I can find cheap lenses? It's bad enough I have to pay for a damn eyetest. And lenses for sunglasses too? I feel cheated out of ££££s for just having bad eyesight. Oh, ...

I wondered if anyone knew where I can get a pair of these glasses from? They cost £204 but would like some cheaper ones, preferably in a shop in London rather than online, but will buy them online if they are much cheaper, and get the lenses done in an opticians. Thanks! xxx

Contact lenses online

Does anyone buy their contact lenses online? Is it that much easier/cheaper? Where do you get yours from? Do you need an official prescription wotsit from your opticians? I'm just fed up of Specsavers. Thanks yo.

For all you ladies who wear disposable contact lenses, where do you get your prescriptions from? I use One day Acuvue (by Johnson & Johnson) but have always gotten 6 month supplies back home in Hong Kong. I'm up to my last box which lasts two weeks, so I need to find a place to get a new batch ASAP! I'm not even sure how the process works here in the UK. I've just become so used to just going home...

Prescription Sunglasses

...damaging my eyes (I only really wear them under sunglasses and to go out at night - the rest of the time I wear glasses...) What I wanted to ask was if opticians like Vision Express, Sepcsavers etc can put prescription lenses in any sunglasses they sell like http://www.visionexpresssunglasses.com/product_PJ7024.shtml these for example, or if you can just get ones that are like specs... I'm sure many of you wear contact lenses. Where do you get yours & how much do you pay for them? I'm thinking ...in contacts as I could in glasses so I'd end up going to college in contact lenses and taking them out around lunch time because I just wasn't ab;e to focus ... range of vision just put me off them. Any of you have an astigmatism and wear contact lenses? What are your lenses like? Thanks.

...a pair that I didn't really like and getting another pair for free that I liked even less, which cost £134 all together. There was a pair that I really liked and wanted, but it would have cost £300 with the lenses, and I couldn't afford that, so I went with the ones I didn't really like. I've now found the ones I really liked on a website for £77! I'm now wondering if I can cancel the ones at...

Does anyone know of any cheap (or at least cheaper than the opticians) but reputable places to order contact lenses from? I use focus dailies for astigmatism if anyone else has the same. Thanks!
