I know I have a couple of horse riders on my flist - lachli , dimturien - and I have a horsey question for a fic. If I have a horse being ridden at full gallop (the ground is dry) and it suddenly comes across a very unexpected very muddy patch directly in front of it, what would the horse do? Carry on as normal? Stop suddenly? Skid? Thanks!
