...don't have smoke detectors in them, because there might be controlled fires on stage, or characters smoking, or what have you. They do have fire detectors, but instead of detecting SMOKE, they detect HEAT. So they don't go off unless a certain amount of HEAT is present in the room, and they can't be triggered by cooking, candles, incense, anything like that. HEAT detectors is what we need here.
