Skating By The Sea

Has anybody here ever gone skating by the sea at the Hotel del Coronado before? It sounds like something my girlfriend would enjoy, so I'm looking to make plans for it. Is there a particularly good time of day or day of the week to go? (Or even week out of the months that it's happening?) Since I've never been I don't know if it gets crowded or if the ice is better at certain times.

Restaurant Week!

So, SD does this thing from time to time called "restaurant week". Many of the eateries around here offer price-fixed menus, so that some of us poor people can enjoy the rich life ... well, at least for a night or two a year.
