I urge each and every one of you to write your senators and representatives to implore them to support the Health Care Reform actions. I will update later with my reasons for supporting this reform. It is very important and if you want affordable health care, please show your legislature how important this issue is.
... he’s not a fan of nationalized single-payor system, but the man makes a good case and he brings up great points. It’s no secret that KP is one of the leading lights in U.S. health care (no snickering!) and if this issue interests you, check out what the man has to say.

... normally watch, and the channel that came up happened to be the Discovery Health Channel. The first image that i saw was this nurse who was bawling her... legislation is introduced. The other day, I walked in on the Discovery Health Channel, and they had some poor woman on a cart, hooked up to... not buy air time, and politicians should move to ban it. DISCOVERY HEALTH NETWORK, GET OFF THE AIR NOW!!!
So yeah, we both definitely contracted some sort of flu. No idea if it was the Swine Flu (dun dun DUN), but who gives a shit, being sick sucks. It especially sucks when you're living in a fourth floor walk up, and you're both suffering from mild breathing difficulties and no energy. We are essentially stranded in the apartment, its hard enough climbing those fucking stairs when we're both at ...
I think I may be getting sick. The past few days I've felt kind of sick to my stomach, not that I couldn't stand to eat less right now but still sucks. I woke up this morning with post nasal drip and a stuffy nose which seems to have mostly cleared up but again, not the most pleasant thing to wake up to. I had kind of hoped that getting exercise and eating healthily would help me not get sick ...
Yesterday I was all psyched for my appointment with the ocularist who makes my prosthetic eyes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OB5wTYNscWs and as soon as I sat down in the chair I announced "I want to change my eye colour!" and he said, "Why am I not surprise? I was saying earlier 'She'll probably want green eyes or reptile eyes or something,' " to which I replied "Well, only one green eye, the ...
"Republicans are learning an unpleasant lesson: The only thing worse than having no health-care reform plan is releasing a bad one, getting thrashed by CBO and making the House Democrats look good in comparison. It's one thing to keep your cards close to your chest. It's another to lay them out on the table and show everyone that you have no hand, and aren't even totally sure how to play the ...
So the Albuterol helped with my breathing fail , but it wasn't a good long term solution. Needing an inhaler every 4 hours gets old really quick, even if I did finally get the technique down and am now a champ and breathing in little particles of goop. So I called the doctor back and now I'm on antibiotics. I have no idea what this illness is or how I got it, but I'm thankful that these are ...
The growth is an abscess according to the dentist. I got to see the xrays. She's got a couple teeth coming in, but not under the problem tooth. She's going to need some fillings, and the problem tooth will need a root canal. They can't do that until the infection is gone. December second we come back to Big Valley for the work to be started. The antibiotics should take care of the infection...
Thursday started with a visit to the rheumatologist. I wish I could say she had really good news for me, but she didn't. The short version of the visit is with my predisposition to arthritis and with my joints being hypermobile there's a good chance that the arthritis won't be going away and will be a chronic thing. I'm less than pleased about that to say the least, but a lot of the inflammation...
