Using CosmoPod with iPod

Hello- Has any one else used the Cosmopod plugin for Safari? It's supposed to be a one-button solution to downloading youtube videos to your iPod, though the formats it produces don't seem to work for me. I'm wondering If I'm missing something... I'm using a 5th Gen. Video iPod, and so far I've never been able to get it to play a .mp4 video (which is what CosmoPod produces). I've only used .m4v...
