Another Reminder

This is a reminder from your Hugo Administrator. Balloting ends in 3 weeks. Do not wait until the last minute because systems fail. One person went to the time and trouble of FedExing their nominating ballot but it arrived too late to be counted. Several people submitted e-ballots at the last minute that apparently ran into clogs somewhere in Teh Intartubes because I didn't receive them in mailbox...

Tickets to the Boston Show

I have two tickets to the Boston Crowded House show. Sunday August 5, 2007. Section 1, Row R. Basically awesome seats. I'm not going to be able to hit the Boston show as originally planned. So rather than start with ebay, I figured to give LJ first dibs. $275 obo, includes fedexing them to you in the US. (Mods, delete if not ok)

TurboTax hell!

... the record of my problem from the chat session, said that a second-tier engineer had been consulted and that the problem wasn't one they had a solution for yet. So she got my address and is fedexing me the updated program so I'll be able to use it without needing to autoupdate. It took five minutes of talking with her and my problem is (hopefully) solved, or at least workarounded. More googling ...
