...OFFICIALLY done with college! Woot! :D Yesterday I went to The Great Dickens Christmas Faire with fairegoddess . It was my first time attending the faire and I am so thankful that she invited me ...and seeing them out of their usual Elizabethan garb and in Victorian dress instead. Speaking of clothes, fairegoddess was so nice as to let me borrow one of her dresses for the day. I ...
... like a pansy. Unless you really don't want to of course. And if you're not tagged and you want to do it, then do! TAGGED: daibhidhbeag , fairegoddess , fieryredhead , jainamsolo , taira602 , tangofic , valefleur , wordplay . Who sleeps in bed next to you? My boyfriend when is able to come over. It was a day full of hellos and goodbyes, often two at a time.
The
famous "L-squared" pair of best buds,
xkokuux (Lisa) and
fairegoddess (Lindsay) , stopped by our
table for a snapshot. (right)
Mike Young and Barrie Young, freshly married piratical couple, visited
us for a moment.

It didn't take long for Christine Haberfield, dressed as "Belle" from
Beauty and the Beast to find them and join the group. (left)

convention.
It was a goody day for people-watching.
We got to see a bunch of our friends in Artist Alley. For

fairegoddess (Lindsay) had a "Flo" costume, based
on the "ProgressiveInsurance" tv ads. (right)
Speaking of people dressed up, Melissa was working on ion Ops and wore red and black

incidentally, making sure that our family and friends had a place to stay....

like to take this moment to ask everyone running a department or a
division to please keep the weekend of 16-17 January 2010 free, please!)
We picked up fairegoddess at the airport, and later that night
my camera ran out of battery juice. (left)
Which brings up another thing that I want to remember for next year: in
addition to a spare phone...
... how we were going to handle ribbon distribution this
year.
Last year, at Animé Los Angeles, I'd sorted out
everyone's
ribbons -- all of the Cosplay Masquerade Participant ribbons for
fairegoddess , for example, as well as little packets of
Staff and Department Head ribbons for every department head
-- and kept the little boxes up in my room until I could find each person

...t trust my internet enough to download a whole ep, but I'll take it if I have to. Edit: Anddd we're good! Well, I'm good. Because, you know, retroflex wins at life. :D. Well, and fairegoddess too off course. AND WELL JUST EVERYONE! :D Tee hee, I love Doctor Who man.... :D :D. (And nowwww, off to just watch all of Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures before Gallifrey! :D)
