WriterCon

Elaine and I have just returned from 'WriterCon' at Fairbridge, where we spent the weekend writing furiously with another five NaNoWriMo sufferers. I wrote more than 7000 words of clean copy in less than 48 hours; Elaine wrote more than 8200. I'm still expecting to fail at NaNoWriMo, but at least I've made it to Chapter 3 and should finish that by the end of the month.

... good things...i'm pretty lucky in a lot of ways, really. 2) as the above may have indicated: i thinki've found said very own baby flat! it's the first floor of a victorian semi on fairbridge road, near Archway, and it's beautiful - antique fireplace, huge windows, lots of light, bay window in which i can hopefully put a (small) desk, near lots of lovely people *beam* *hugs world*...just the one...
