... will be on forced furloughs.  They are a 24/7 operation so I don't know how the city gets away w/ this, but it's going to happen.  Prepare to be on hold when trying to get through for emergencies, hopefully not as bad as CHP, but it could be.  If a loved one dies because there aren't enough operators to take your call, I'd suggest suing the city.  There's no way this should be happening.
