Now here's a post for the obscure

... arrived on the scene in numbers much earlier than the other types. My conclusion would be that the designers of Wings of Fire were more willing to support hypothetical engagements, while the designers of Check Your Six ! were more interested in recreating actual historical fights. An interesting difference in design philosophy.
