... only just met, is a testament to just how professional these models are! This week's work on my " Cyanide Cheesecake " images has gone very well. It took me a little time to get my head round the 1940's cheesecake theme but they're looking great now and I'm looking forward to sharing them in the New Year. Very different for me but they've still got the Declinegothica feel.
... much of the original theme is left in the finalimages! Still, that is what making art is all about and I'm pleased with what we've created! This coming weekend is my 1940's influenced " Cyanide Cheescake " shoot which will be the very last shoot of the year and will be my first images to get posted in 2010 and feature my new Declinegothica logo. So more on that on Sunday.
...Magazine as I think it treats it's photographers with utter contempt! But congratulations atleast to The Oxidising Angel , who's "Caged" image is in the Ultra Vixen section. It would have been nice to have been credited for the image or paid, as they're making money off me allowing the image to be downloaded for mobiles though. And they've even cut the Declinegothicalogo off the bottom!
To celebrate what a fantastic year 2008 has been for my imagery and having my "Dawn of a New Age" image featured in issue four of Gatehouse Gazette , here is a retrospective of my Steampunk images of the last twelve months. I'm sorry if you've seen them before but I hope there might be the odd one you've missed. Thank you so much to the wonderful models that have helped me; Lady Nex Angelus...
This afternoon Amaeya and I, introduced another two models to the Declinegothica team with our " Silhouette " shoot. New models, Neo Geisha and Karl Deegan performed wonderfully, as did the new chromokey green studio we hired for the shoot. I'm hoping shooting chromokey will speed up my post editing but we'll have to see. Thanks as usual to Amaeya , who always helps me so much ...
... next month but here are some images we took before we went out clubbing the other week. Ironically, these are some of the last pictures taken with my D200 camera as well. The theme, was a little tongue in cheek play on the two sides of satanicangel666 's personality. And so I'll be handing out application forms very soon to be the next Declinegothica muse! Lol!
Next weekend I have the biggest event of the Declinegothica year, with my " Hellfire Consortium " steampunk shoot. When we started doing prop sketches and creating character profiles, it seemed a long way off and it's exciting to think it's nearly here! One of the team for this shoot is the gorgeous giselle_bour , who does steampunk with a flare all of her own! Today I'm posting a ...
... modern version but today's images are from my dark set with bass_prin_prin and topazpoison as wicked sisters in a very twisted playroom. You'll notice these feature the first of my new Declinegothica 2009 logos. I have several this year, to better express my trad goth, dark fantasy and steampunk styles. Thank you to everyone who sent me New Year texts, emails and comments. I...
In order to alternate and demonstrate different styles, below is the first image by davecharsley (of declinegothica from the group shoot at Whitby Goth Weekend on Halloween. With me in this shot is Wes and Shadowkat, both of whom are not only fantastic models, but really friendly and supportive people, who fully understood how I was out of practise!
The Universal logo turns into Earth-That-Was, many ships escaping atmosphere as a cultured female voice describes the massive human exodus from the used-up planet. She explains that terraforming took decades – we see enormous machines and different planets - but created hundreds of new worlds. The Core planets had all the benefits of Alliance civilization, but the outer planets were ...
