Beyond Vanilla Nineteen

We are so lucky to have such an organized kink community in Dallas. I ventured out for South Plains Leather Fest on occasion, but since my community was once global, I really didn't connect locally with anyone in any community in Dallas, dyke or otherwise. Anyways, one of the oldest and largest conferences is Beyond Vanilla , going on its 19th year. I'm excited to be on the committee this year...

Bettie Page passed away on Thursday, nine days after suffering a heart attack. She was in her 80s. Thanks for everything you did to empower women, Bettie Page. At least 7000 Femmes I know have your haircut.

We are family

I adopted my little MeeshaMeesh this morning! At my lawyers suggestion, I dressed like a school marm in a soccer mom sweater vest with hideous red cardinals embroidered on it. We were both so overwhelmed with gratitude that this day was finally here! Even the judge was smiling kinda silly at us, and as we walked out of the courtroom, I saw some ladies dabbing their eyes.
