non-functioning bicycles are the pits. they've already make me break my shift-key fast (in the title of this entry). but at least i was accepted to csssa. hopefully it's as fun as it seems. hopefully i room with kr. and hopefully by some glitch, they don't put any other students in our room so we get to sharea space, just us two, and enjoy each other's company.
...soundtrack for it. "You're gonna be wounded. I'm gonna be your wound....." Yeah. Sexy. XP Sigh.... I'm really missing my CSSSAfriends.... and all of CSSSA... yeah, even two months afterwards, I'm still sad about it. I just wish I was a little moresociable there. My social skills are bleh. But oh...
I got my acceptance into animation today and almost threw up I got so excited haha. Nobutreally. I found this community a little while ago from animatedbuzz.com but then totally didn't follow up on it. Sooo I expect to chat with all the incoming CSSSAers. This summer is going to rock so hard. I'm excited to meet everyone! :D
So guys. I was talking about animation and stuff today. It didn't take me long to realize that no one had ANY IDEA what I was talking about. When I go outside in the morningit's cold, not 79 degrees D8 It was a mind blowing month, but yeah. I really missCSSSA.
So I did look through some old posts on the community, and I saw a post like this, but since there are different people posting now, etc, etc, here is the big question: What would you advise people to not forget to bring to CSSSA? (Other than a fan and camera. I hope everyone will remember those.) OR, alternatively, what would you advise people NOT to bring to CSSSA? :O
After months of hard work and determination (errr...maybe more like 2 weeks of trying to figure out how to put my portfolio onto a flash drive), I finally got my packet from csssa about at the beginning of may. And I was so excited that I blew all my cash on buying everything I need within about 2 days and also a few slightly ridiculous outfits ;) Now Im just waiting waiting ...
... a flight to the second star on the right. pathetic pathetic pathetic. wish school was over. not that i go to a crap high school, but i feel like it's wasting my time. i'm more excited for csssa and the thirtieth anniversary more than anything else, but we've got six weeks and finals to go. bleh also, does anyone know who vae is? he's amazing, but i can't get much info on him because...well, ...
Congratulations. My summer at CSSSA was an invaluable intellectual and social experience. And it was the most goddamn fun any talented high-schooler can hope to find any time... scheduling can be a little tricky. That said, you can pretty much sit down anywhere and you'll make insta-friends. CSSSA kids are mostly super friendly. Err on the side of being outgoing. 10) There is a lot to be explored. ...
It's supposed to be about 3 weeks until we hear back from CSSSA. I really want to hear it now DX Is anyone else being killed by the anticipation like I am? Speak out if you are!
I applied for CSSSA on piano and saxophone. I was confused about what to do on the tape so i taped two sections of songs on the saxophone and a full song on the piano. Do you think that is okay? I put piano as my primary instrument and saxophone as my secondary, if i get in will i be playing bolth somehow? Or will i only be working with my primary instrument? What is the precent of people that ...
