Everyone remembers Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop before Corel bought JASC out and made them all clunky and not fun to use. I've replace PSP with a variety of programs over the years, but I still don't have a good replacement for animation shop for assembling basic images into animated gifs, with or without special effect fades.
