... of morning.... Wrote an uber short story. Which gets me too.... what is it with lit fic short stories these days? For reading group, we're reading St. Lucy's School for Girls Raised By Wolves , a collection of short stories. I've only read a couple; liked one a whole lot; didn't like another one. But all of them have vague, ambiguous endings. Seems like it's the new rule of short storydom, ...

...--not a genre I read much at all (= like, once, before now), but this was fantastic! If you can believe it coming from a novice :-P And then some really pretty terrifying and clever horror--again, not a genre I read much at all, but these stories pulled me right in. *So* glad I got the book; it's broadened my horizons and given me some memorable tales, and I haven't read half the collection yet.
