...doing today. I also managed to get the rest of the garage cleaned up. I'm pretty sure we can get both cars in there now. We made an effort to do that today because more people are starting to move in and we think we're going to have to start parking two cars in the garage soon. Cole and I are watching Attack of the Clones . We had a hankering for some Star Wars. Excellent. Back to the movie.
.... THINGS I DID TODAY! baked cookies. cleaned and sealed the granite countertop in the kitchen. made blueberry muffins. read a book. dropped off our old DVRs at Comcast. did the laundry. read another book. took Cole to Target to buy a birthday present. didn't watch any TV until just now. carved pumpkins. See? I did plenty. Book #111 - The Mystery of the Blue Train by Agatha Christie - I ...
... even know where to begin. However, I'm willing to give it a shot! To start with, we are officially in our new house. OFFICIALLY! Not all the boxes are unpacked, but we have the bulk of it done. Cole's room looks pretty awesome. My room looks outstanding. Our house is so nice and comfortable and pretty to look at that it makes me happy on the inside. :) I'd post pictures, but I haven't taken any....
Happy Halloween, kiddies. I'm home while Cole's out with his dad in our old neighborhood because he wanted to see some of his friends. How sad is that? I'm home. Hmmph. If work hadn't kicked my ass today I'd be out with him. Anyway. I forgot to mention that one of the things that made yesterday so pretty was that is was rainy and overcast all day. Awesome. It's supposed to pour tonight. Super ...
...-birthday party. My sis gave me Chuck season 1 and the newest Artemis Fowl book. My other sis gave me a shirt and a sweater. I got cash and a Starbucks card. My mom gave me a sweater and another shirt. Cole gave me a bag of Hershey kisses (kisses! ha!) and shower gel from Bath and Body Works. I have to say that it was downright awesome. If all goes as planned in my head, we'll be getting our ...
... (which I haven't yet read during this reading). I should really read that next. But I might not. Anyway. It's very good and I liked it. :) I have tomorrow off yet I'll be getting up as early as usual. Boo. I have to get Cole and Hailey off to school and start taking down some of the shelves in my room. *sigh* I would like to sleep in every once in a while. That would be very nice. I'm out.
... new home. Or something. We're having the furniture delivered tomorrow afternoon (late, like between 4 and 6) and we're planning on taking the bulk of the boxes in the living room and garage down tomorrow. Cole, Hailey and myself will probably sleep down there tomorrow so we don't have to get up super-duper early Friday morning for school. FUN! Okay. I think I have things to do. not really, but I...
...of their trip. Speaking of pictures, Phil's a fair hand with the camera and the two of us discussed trying to sell his pretties so I can make money. Somehow it seemed very fair to me. I'll exploit his creative talent for the sake of my mortgage. Surely it makes sense somewhere. Cole's home after a long day out with his dad. I'm going to cuddle up next to him and poke him in the ribs. :) Later.
...a rather delightfully quirky show. Too bad it only had 13 episodes. I've watched through ep 9 and I'm already dreading when I reach the end. *sigh* FOUR MORE TO GO! The fam came home today and Hailey and Cole are already at each other's throats. I'm ready to boot both of them off to the coal mine for rehabilitation. Do you think it'll do any good? I don't. Seriously, they need to stop yelling at ...
I had an EXTREMELY long conference today. In fact, Cole had a bit of a meltdown at his daycare and he's just been out of sorts this evening and I told him that after we'd discussed what had happened and his homework was done we'd watch a movie together. So, we talked, he finished his homework, we settled in with a movie. I immediately fell asleep. It was amazing. I was just out. And now I'm awake....
