I don't know how to say this without sounding like Tara Gregson, but...

I was having a conversation with some characters in a story I'm trying to write, and they are telling me the story is set in Chicago. I have no choice but to believe them, after all they should know where they live. My dilemma is this, as much as I love that city, I know absolutely nothing about it!
