In my spare time I run two websites and they use joomla as I have a number of users who add content on a regular basis. So I am looking for a link checking program that identifies 404 links. I use Linux mainly, but would be open to something on Windows. Ideally I would like this to be able to run daily, and send an email, but what ever. Also, please, don't recommend a Joomla plugin. I have far ...

I haven’t been posting comics in the past few days, but (unlike most of my students concerning their lack of homework) I have a very good excuse! Ellen and I are in the process of having our second child and I spent most of last week in and out of doctor’s offices and the hospital. Baby #2 wasn’t quite ready to make his presence known to the world last week… but we’re going to the hospital ...

It's almost time for Christmas (and other seasonal festivities!) If anyone would like to receive a card and perhaps some sketchy, not all that great fan art, then please PM me with your address and I'll try and get them sent out in the next few days. And yes, this does include all of you Americans, Australians and anywhere-else-you-happen-to-be-people. ^_^

I'm still munching on the leftovers. Right now, I think my goal may be to make it through Christmas without gaining any more, though losing some would be nice. How are all of you doing?
So. Trying to ease back into work--there are people in my life who don't think that what I do is terribly interesting or worthwhile, and even I admit that it's only recently that it's become a gainful employment once again. So I don't tend to recognize that it's possible to overwork myself, my dreams aside. But then you look back and realize that I put out an e-book and two Fifteen Minutes (...
Today, December 4th 2009, was the very first day since I adopted Benji on Anzac Day (April 25) that he went outside by himself because I told him to. I am stunned. No Benny Hill chase round the house, no needing to distract and grab him. Just opened the door, put the water bowl outside and out he wandered. Shock and awe. And this a quick update of my to do list to be completed by Dec 20: 1. ...
