possible idea on spreading the word

... these would be ideal places to hand out pamphlets about TLA, and raise awareness on Hollywood Whitewashing and Yellowface. However, I'm thinking - would raising awareness on this issue at a cultural event be going to far, especially considering the fact that I am Caucasian? If it is not , then what's the best (and less offensive/patronizing way) that I or others could go about doing this?
