Out Ramblin'

... antique mall on the way back to the car and we were done. 3 miles for the day and I felt enlivened and refreshed. One more stop on the way home at the train stop. I walked 2 blocks up to use the necessary at a fast food place and discovered a Budhist Temple on a side street. India influences from the giant statuary in the courtyard. Worth furth investigation for the artwork alone. A good day.

L'Elisir D'amore in SF opera. Premiere.

It was one of those perfect nights! I ditched work around 3.30pm. And I went to the opera. Elisir d'amore at SF opera was magnificent!!! It was light, silly, touching, funny, kind, just like Donizetti and G-d intended. Huge thanks to Chris and budhist_milf !!! Wonderful opera, supberb! Unfortunately, having some space for belcanto singers to have fun, the presented voices could hardly ...

some new things

... my life, I have a job that I like, so I've basically engineered many circumstances in my life to my liking.  I like quiet and I'm an introvert, so I think that's a big part of why i am a Budhist librarian that meditates a lot.  I live in a lot of silence and that makes me happy.  I had goals to complete a certain level of eduation, and I attained those goals.  I do what I want to do, and I don't ...

...I think the experience has permanently crippled my soul. Eternally depressed my coffee, if you will. So, anyway, I've just spent the last week celebrating Chinese New Year, including burning incense at Budhist temples. It was very interesting. It's a little different at each temple. At the first temple, we each took nine sticks of incense, bowed three times at the first incense....well, actually...
