This is a rescue from a "nature" center, labeled as a black rat. The funding for center has been severely lacking, and the power was being turned off. Clearly, this is not a black rat and the general consensus is that it is of the Lampropeltis variety, and the two possible species we narrowed down are the Mexican Black King or the Black Milksnake. Until I get an intact shed, I cannot get a decent...
