I've been given a cake commission!

... popular too! One of my department has asked me to make her mother a birthday cake for the 26th January. She's an older lady and likes traditional sorts of cakes...enjoy on the weekend, branching out to larger cakes for occasions. There's a cake decorating class I'd like to take in September before I moved beyond simple sponge cakes, but it's a nice little idea to have.
