A new bird in BR Hills... Hills) saying a very unique looking bird has been perched on a tree since the previous afternoon... and Prashanth pointed out at a tree. This was my first glimpse of the bird. I went around the tree to get a clear view and it was a Vulture! The locals were very excited to see this bird and said it was first spotted... when the sun emerged for a short while. When I returned to the spot the Vulture was nowhere to be seen. All five falcons came to the hack site today. I saw E5 with another bird... sheet moving through the valley. A turkey vulture flew around the hack site and the falcons chased as they often do. When the rain started the vulture landed in a tree behind the hack box. I watched... bunched up rather than spread out flying. The turkey vulture's head fascinated me.
