Hey guys; today marks the 50th anniversary of the death of three rock'n'roll greats, Richie Valens, JP Richardson (the Big Bopper), and Buddy Holly. I've read somewhere that Paul has said [something along the lines of] without Buddy Holly, there would be no Beatles, so I think we owe him a little something. :) Anyway, here's the relevant part.
