While India's Independence Day is often celebrated with kites, the US celebrated with fireworks. How does each methods reflect its culture? View other answers of course america has to celebrate itself with loud noises and bright colours. not only is that the only thing that will keep an average american interested.

Writer's Block: Independence Days

...America as being too dangerous. I wish that people could understand that we need to be responsible for our own actions, not protected from ourselves as they were truly a lot of fun. It's truly a shame that my children will never knew the fun of setting off fireworks on Independence day like I did. Another interesting fact is that both the Indian kite and the American firework originated in China.

.... then there's us glorious americans who just like to blow shit up. and the fireworks represent how we did blow shit up when we were at war with the brits. yes! let us celebrate our destruction of things! america is basically an arrogent adolecent kid.
