Mexican Flu sucks. My head feels like it's splitting apart and I hate lying in bed all day! *headdesks* I still wanted to make a post about this though: 20 years today. It's one of my earliest memories. Things like these tend to stay with you.

Tamale Day!

... ran out of corn dough. But I ran out of corn dough first. One pound of meat filling was enough for 4 cups corn dough, and I still have corn husks left. The meat tamales are steaming in the Asian steamer my mom gave me. I made up a batch of cinnamon honey raisin corn dough for the rest of the husks when the first batch is done. I got the idea from The Art of Mexican Cooking by Diana Kennedy.
