14th C gown, back This is based on an amalgamation of several dress sources from the 12-14th centuries. It's essentially a modified bliaut, and laces from mid-upper arm to the hip on both sides. I was impressed - it went together like a dream!

This is a 26 string bray harp from the 14thC. Unlike the better known Nuremberg harp, this one has been authenticated. Ok, so, I've settled on 14thCIrish. I really want to just be all over, every country, but I need to pick a home. Sticking with something I can truly claim, and maybe just changing my stupid last name's spelling so its more Mine, might at least wrap that up. I can stil craft any culture. I can study the whole 14th C, loved most by me because of what we as a thinking species accomplished tween 1200...
So whether or not we all believe in the old tradition of a 14thc "Alliterative Revival" or not, I'm sure we're all familiar w/the popularity of alliterative verse in latemedievalEngland. Are any of you familiar w/alliterative prose ? I'll admit I've read less ME prose than verse, as I suspect is true of many of us. But based on what I have read, I can't think of any that was noticeably ...
